$10 Billion clean sweep

If you haven't been paying attention lately the green movement is currently on its way. Congress has just passed a bill that will give about $10 billion usd to the green building industry. That's a great victory in my book. We have been waiting for people to realize the importance of the green movement for decades now. In spite of all the bad things that came out of 2008 we seem to have struck a cord in the ears on mankind. There is been a growing demand for building projects that are environmentally friendly especially where energy efficiency is concerned.

Its not the dot com industry but it might be having the same affect on the world. Green baby green!!! You tend to hear that more often these days. How long will it take for the entire world to get caught up in the wave? Maybe never since we have so many non believers in the movement. People have started to take notice and I think that is all we need right now is for people to start taking this seriously.

With this $10 billion dollar investment about 2 million jobs will be created in the coming years. We have lost over 3 million jobs in the last 18 months. This might be one of the best ways to kick start our economy when we are in dire need. With the green industry we will be replacing old lower paying jobs with new environmentally friendly higher paying ones. That sounds like a great trade if you ask me.

With major industries like wind, bio fuels, solar power, coal, and even water who can say that things wont get lots better in the next 10 years. Who would of thought 25 years ago that we could actually make money selling water? Many companies if not all of them will be going green in these coming years and will also offer lots of green collar jobs. Companies are noticing that being green is now becoming the new black. If they survived being in the red for 2008 without filing for bankruptcy they should consider this new industry that will slowly sweep the nation.

So what do you think about being green now? I'm going green will be heard all across the hemisphere. Will you commit to going green?

Losing ourselves

With pieces of Antarctica falling apart very few months it seems, we might be losing more than just ice. We tend not to know how big the problem of global warming really is. Its amazing to see that some people still don't believe in global warming. It might take for Antarctica to become as hot as Hawaii for some to really take heed.

How long do we really have left before its too late? No one really knows but it doesn't seem to be that far away. This might not seem like a major problem right now but do we have to wait until it is staring us in the face before we try a little harder? So many have tried to commit to going green and trying to focus more on our planet but it does not seem to be enough. There has to be a radical shift in out lifestyles for things to change.

Only time we tend to make dramatic changes is when a natural disaster or a tremendous downturn happens. Why can't we take the HMO approach and try to prevent the inevitable. We will see if focusing on a solution will be better than focusing on the problem.

Lets make it happen. Tell a friend to tell a friend. Commit today....

How many of your friends have made a commitment to go green? Do you feel that everyone is leaving you out the loop? Would you rather be a leader or a follower?

It seems that more and more people are getting caught up by the green wave. Everywhere you turn more companies and their employees are focusing on our environment. Going green is not as bad as many may think. Even if you are just recycling or using paper instead of plastic, you are still being a big help to our planet. It seems like it's not that important right now but one day going green is going to be a law. We are in danger of losing our planet if we dont take the green movement you more seriously.

I think going green is very cool. Many new start up companies have been getting funding a lot easier than other start ups just by being green. It's not hard to see that there are a lot of people who are trying to save our planet every way they can. Please try to do your part.

How Green Are you?

Many people think that the idea of going green takes lots of effort and money. Contrary to what you may believe its not as hard as you think. You can take the process of going green one day at a time. You can start by recycling your plastic bottles, soda cans, or glass bottles. How hard is it to throw a can away in the right container? It can be a slow process as long as your committed. It's your earth too!!

You would think that if the most influential people in society are noticing the problem that there actually is something wrong. Some people still deny that a global problem exists. We have even changed the way we look at climate change. We now refer to it as " global warming " different name, same problem.

I remember a few years ago when I first heard about recycling. I didn't really think anything of it because I figured a few people were trying to make a big deal about nothing. Who would have thought that back then the earth would be where it is now? I think the world is evolving to try and self sustain. We all have a part to do. Some people take on a bigger role than others which is why we have the green movement coming to the forefront of our lives. Can you commit to going green today? Join our movement by giving us your commitment today...
